Port Albert New Year's Eve Fireworks
Port Albert's New Year's Eve Fireworks is a signature event for region.
This annual event attracts thousands of people to the town with a fun-filled event schedule that combines markets, food trucks, and free kids activities and the finale being the free fireworks display.
This spectacular event is co-ordinated by the Port Albert Progress Association.
2025 Event Details
Event Location: Rutters Park, Bay Street Port Albert.
Event Date/Time: Twighlight markets opens at 6pm Dec 31st with the fireworks display at approximately 9.30pm (see full event schedule below).
Event Cost: Gold coin donation to help fund this free event is collected at the gate by volunteers.
Event Set-up: This is an open air event which is held at Rutters Park. We encourage you to bring down your picnic rug and chairs and enjoy dusk on the foreshore (bring your bug spray). This is a family friendly event so we encourage pets to be on a leash.
Payment Options: We recommend the use of cash as some EFTPOS machine struggle with low Internet coverage.
What's On: Music, Markets, Food & Drink Vendors, Children's Activities, Coast Guard Licenced Bar, plus Local Shops will be open (activities are weather dependant).
Fireworks: The spectacular fireworks display will start approximatley 9.30pm. Please ensure that any pets are secured.
