The final 9km stretch to Port Albert was recently completed, and is particularly scenic, guiding visitors through lush landscapes and ending at this peaceful seaside town.


As Wellington Shire Councillor Garry Stephens aptly expressed, “The trail extension has been years in the making, and it is incredibly rewarding to see it finally come to life. I’m proud of what both councils have accomplished, and I’m excited to welcome visitors from across Victoria and beyond to experience all that it has to offer." 


The trail’s extension now allows visitors to the area to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty, history, and community spirit that Port Albert and the rest of South Gippsland offer.
