New Year's Eve Fireworks Fundraising Raffles

First Friday of Each Month

The Victoria Hotel in Alberton (The Albo) kindly provides Port Albert Progress Association with a fund raising night on the first Friday of the month.

 

Pop in for a meal and purchase a raffle ticket to support the fund raising for the Port Albert's New Year's Eve Fireworks.

Tickets can be purchased throughout the day and the draw will commence at 7pm sharp.

Australia Day

Celebrate your country at Port Albert.

 

The Port Albert Progress Assocation runs the Music in the Park Family Fun Day at Rutters Park on the Port Albert foreshore.

Easter Family Fun Day in the Park

March

As part of the Tarra Festival, each year, the Port Albert Progress Assocation hosts the Easter Family Fun Day held in Rutters Park on Port Albert's Foreshore.

 

With live music, free kids activities, food trucks, and your own BYO picnic, its a great evening at the Port.

Floating Lantern Display launches at 8pm on dusk.

ANZAC Day Service

April

ANZAC Day Services are held at dawn all around Australia to commemorate the courageous Australians and New Zealanders who have served their country both past and present.

 

Port Albert's ANZAC Dawn Service is held at Memorial Park on the Port Albert foreshaw each year and a service you will remember fondly.

Christmas Lights Competition

Do you enjoy lighting up your house at Christmas?

 

Port Albert Progress Association runs the annual Christmas Lights Competition with prizes going to the best decorated house.

 

Have some fun and get involved in the community by registering your house.

New Year's Eve Fireworks

December 31st

The signature event for the region is the Port Albert New Year's Eve Fireworks.  

 

This annual event combines markets, food trucks, live music, free kids activities and the finale being the free fireworks display.

This spectacular event is run by the Port Albert Progress Association.

Local Raffles & Competitions

Hamper Raffle

​The Port Albert Progress Association (PAPA) is holding a hamper raffle with wonderful, luxurious products up for grabs.

 

Moneys raised go towards running local events in the Port Albert area.

Paddle the Port

April 7th 2024

The inaugural 'Paddle the Port' is a fun, friendly event on April 7th for SUP, kayaks and canoes.

​

The full event will be from Port Albert Yacht Club to Robertson’s Beach, return, which is 7km.  There is also the option to do 3.5km and be ferried back, with your vessel, from Robertson’s Beach.

 

All entrants must wear a Personal Flotation Device.
Under 18’s must be supervised by an adult.

 

$10 entry fee to be paid prior to the event, please register on the link below. Registration closed Midnight April 4th. Enquires to Brian on 0425 731 938.

 

This fee includes insurances, entry, BBQ and refreshments after the paddle.
