Rutters Park at Port Albert is a magnet for children.
The park features a horizontal rope climbing frame, balance skateboard suspended from three poles, birds nest swing, dual wave slides, stand-on spinner, stepping logs in a curve, swings (one with harness), lovely springers, speedboat with steering wheel, oars and motor, an elevated pit filled with shells rather than sand, maze composed of poles and chains and a curved distorting mirror.
Port Albert has Tennis Courts which are available for hire. To hire the court please contact the Port Albert General Store.
Port Albert's foreshore is scattered with three brightly coloured Marine Buoys.
Navigation buoys, beacons and marks are the road signs on the water. Have the kids wander around the Port Albert Wharf and try to locate all three Buoys. Don't forget to take a selfie of yourself trying to pick up the Buoy and post it using the hashtag #PortAlbert.

The area boasts a 4 berth boat ramp, floating pontoons to support all sized boats and kayaks all supported by a large trailer parking area with boat wash down facilities and fish filleting stations.
Land based anglers can enjoy the serenity of the three separate jetties while watching the world go by. With easy parking and access to local food stores and public toilets. The catch can vary, but you can also add Garfish & Leatherjackets to the local catch list.
